Interior Transformation

Existing rooms reworked rather than replaced: layouts opened, dated finishes removed, light recovered.

Many Algarve properties have excellent proportions hidden under twenty years of choices. Transformation is the work of finding them again — removing what dates a room, opening what was closed, and bringing the finishes up to a standard the architecture deserves.

It is delivered as one responsibility: design, trades, sequence, budget and the furnishing that follows, with the same team accountable throughout.

Concept transformation
  • Kitchens and bathrooms

The rooms that date a property fastest, reworked in stone, oak and bronze while keeping the services where they are.

  • Layout and light

Openings widened, partitions removed, terraces connected, so that the house reads as one continuous space.

    Finishes
  • Finishes

Patterned tile, dated joinery and heavy plaster replaced with materials that belong to the climate.

  • Complete and furnished

The transformation finished with furniture, window treatments and styling — not handed back as a building site.

  • Typical situations

A villa bought for its position and its bones, with an interior from a different decade. An apartment in the Algarve that lets well but photographs poorly. A family house that needs to work for a new generation without being rebuilt.

How it begins

  1. Survey and brief

What is worth keeping, what must go, and what the property can become.

  2. Design and cost

One reference project, expected costs established as clearly as practical, and one planned sequence of works.

  3. Works and finish

Site run, trades coordinated, furniture installed, keys handed back.
