Interior Design Studio in Vilamoura

A property can be technically finished and still not feel complete.

Interior Design · Vilamoura

Bloom Living creates considered Vilamoura interiors designed around the home, its purpose and the people who will actually live in it, whether that is a full villa transformation or refreshing a handful of rooms in an existing apartment.

Design the whole experience

A successful interior is not a collection of individually attractive pieces.

Furniture proportions affect circulation. Window treatments alter light. Lighting changes material. Storage determines whether a room continues to feel calm once it is actually being used.

Bloom Living looks at those decisions together.

For a complete transformation, that can mean defining the visual direction, selecting materials and furniture, coordinating bespoke elements, planning window treatments and completing the final installation.

For an existing property, it may mean identifying the changes that will have the greatest effect without unnecessarily rebuilding everything.

What the studio actually does, from brief to installation

  • Concept and layout: how each room should be used, how light moves through it across the day, and where the furniture plan needs to change to make that work
  • Materials and specification: flooring, surfaces, fabrics and finishes chosen to suit the Algarve climate as well as the aesthetic
  • Bespoke elements: fitted joinery, media walls and storage designed for the specific room rather than adapted from a catalogue
  • Window treatments: curtains, blinds and shading specified against the direction a room faces, particularly where western light is strong
  • Sourcing and procurement: furniture and fittings ordered, tracked and brought together for a single installation date
  • Installation and styling: the final placement, dressing and finishing that makes a delivered property feel resolved rather than merely furnished

The owner benefit is that these stages are held by one studio rather than passed between a designer, a supplier and an installer who have never spoken to each other.

Second homes should still feel personal

A second home can easily end up feeling temporary.

Furniture may have been bought quickly. Rooms are often completed at different times. Practical items accumulate without an overall direction.

Our aim is to create the opposite: a home that feels settled from the moment you arrive.

That does not require every Vilamoura property to look the same. The design should respond to the architecture, natural light, scale and way the owner wants to use the space.

Investment and developer interiors require different thinking

Not every design brief is for a private owner.

For investment properties, staging and developments, the balance shifts toward broad appeal, durability, efficient specification and presentation.

Bloom Living can therefore adjust the design process according to whether the property needs to become a deeply personal home, a compelling show property or a complete investment interior.

From concept to finished room

Because design sits alongside Bloom Living's property and project services, the process does not need to stop with a mood board.

Furniture, carpentry, window treatments, installation and finishing can be coordinated through the same wider team.

That continuity matters when the owner is not permanently in Vilamoura to manage every delivery and supplier personally.

How we work

  1. Understand the brief

We discuss how the property is used, who it needs to work for and what is not currently working.

  2. Develop the concept

Layout, materials and furniture direction are proposed together, not as separate decisions.

  3. Specify and source

Furniture, finishes and bespoke elements are specified, ordered and tracked to a realistic timeline.

  4. Coordinate delivery

Trades, deliveries and installation are sequenced so the property is not disrupted for longer than necessary.

  5. Install and style

The final placement and styling is completed on site, ready for the owner to arrive to a finished home.

Questions we are asked

Can you redesign an already furnished property?

Yes. A project does not need to begin with an empty shell. Bloom Living can assess what should remain and where changes would materially improve the overall interior.

Do you provide complete furniture packages?

Yes. Furniture packages form part of Bloom Living's wider design and staging services and can be adapted to the type and positioning of the property.

Can you manage installation while I am away?

Yes. Installation and supplier coordination can be managed locally where included within the project scope.

Do you only design full villas, or smaller apartments too?

Both. A marina apartment refresh and a full golf-estate villa transformation are approached with the same design process, scaled to the size and scope of the property.

How long does a typical interior project take in Vilamoura?

It depends on scope, from a few weeks for furniture and styling to several months for a full transformation involving bespoke joinery, but timelines are agreed with you at the outset and tracked throughout.

An interior that finally feels resolved.
